“You bought too much, you spend a lot.” My three-year-old son said cheerfully. He was probably too young to understand what he was saying, but for me, those accused words he spaced out were just like stones dropping into the water---too harsh to bear.

        Fate has a way of jumping up and bite you when you least expect it. I am not sure this change of the event is good or bad. One thing is for sure: uncertainty did, does, and will always hang over the future. Change is the only thing that never changes.

My sister-in-law paid a short visit to us from American last week. Like a Santa, she brought us tons of presents, from Polo T-shirts, Dress, to Skincare products. As the only child of my family, I am always fascinated by the relationship between siblings. This time I should say, being spoiled has some good points.

I am the product of a conservative upbringing, used to viewing the world with suspicions and cautions. I am not a cynic, but neither can I trust easily. It seems safer for me to hold myself apart from the world. At most of time I am more an observer than a participant.

I literally order everything from the internet. Every time I do, I have been like a child at Christmas, eagerly awaiting the delivery service. Today five expected packages arrived one after another in short intervals. Five in total! It is really my day. I couldn’t help but beaming at my new glorious captures.

May 4^th, May 13^th, May 16^th, May 21^st. For an agonized moment I just stared at these four dates, the pain and the frustration was like a fist, clenched around my heart. Four times in a month was too much, don’t you think?
