A mother's fury

Long time ago, there was a time we took in everything we have heard. We believed that the air we breathed in was clear; the food we ate was healthy; the water we drank was poison-free. We trusted our government, our quality watchdog, believeing that they have tried their best to protect us. We also believed what we’ve watched in TV’s Ads: A baby's innocent smile with sweet voice: Baby is happy, Mummy is worries-free. Yeah, Everything was fine and secure. Therefore, enthusiastically, we boycotted import goods and gave our support to domestic brand. We felt proud because we actually believed that, in this way, we have made our own contributions to vitalize our country.

The knowing process is long and painful. We paid a high price for what was once our young and believing head. Our trusts have been crushed under the wheel of cruel reality---again and again we witness a lot of contrary evidences that we could not fool ourselves any longer. We felt shock and confused when we first heard about the air we breathed in were polluted. Then we knew that the pork we ate was injected with filthy water; the ham sausage was immersed in poison; the vegetable’s fine looks were due to inesculent dye. Rice, drinking, drugs, almost all the items of our necessities, were one by one falling into that terrible blacklist. We felt numbed and totally lost. Finally we learned that life was easier if lived without sharp eyes. So we deliberately ignored those truth of the life. We retreated into a world of false insecurity, and leaving everything else to our self-defense systems.

However, we had the last straw---certainly they would pass the infants. They are our hope, our future. Who could take the heart to hurt an innocent baby? They are so fragile, so helpless---totally dependent on the others’ mercy. Have you ever watched a baby waking up from his dreams? At first, he would be seized with a rush of fears. He rolled his terrifying eyes around, trying to find the reassurances. When he spotted his mother, he would give his mother a most beautiful smile then fell off sleep again. A baby’s love is no disguised, a baby’s trust is no holding back---they are the most precious gifts we could ever have. However, now these gifts are so easily destroyed by this only-money-matters world. Thousands babies were sent to the hospital, several died of kidney stones, and many mothers’ hearts have been broken. In their worst dreams, those mothers never dreamed that when they were feeding their baby with those famous brand formula, they were feeding their love with poison.  All this is just because some famous diary companies could gain more.

What the hell our society has become?

Me too! I'm so happy to get back here and meet all those old friends. after this site shut down, i tired to create a blog somewhere else, but i just can't go on. Nothing is like here. I opened my first blog here about two years ago, and though there were times i have to stop blogging, but i always come back as soon as it returned to normal.
I'm fine, just in some kind of ennui. but i'll get out soon. how are you? wish everything is fine!

ya....it's hateful they add so many chemical stuff into the powder just to meet the stupid standard.
anyway, it's a tough world, mums should be careful to protect their babies from hurt. and all of us should work hard to make the world act as what it should be.
